I have been passionate about cooking since I was a child, and I have honed my skills through years of experience in the food industry. I graduated from Hotel Restaurant Management School in Toulouse France in 1979. At the time our school student body was 594 boys and 6 girls. It was a "man's world", boys got to wear the toque hat AKA Chef hat, we got to wear a handmaid's bonnet which I still have as souvenir... I have owned a restaurant and a catering business in the San Francisco Bay Area and worked as a Chef in various facilities including senior living and high-end restaurants. I have now established myself as a personal chef in Summerlin Las Vegas to share my practical knowledge of eating healthy yet delicious food with my community. My husband Ron has been supporting all my culinary endeavors and is by my side to make it possible today in our new home which is Las Vegas!
I am academically and professionally trained to prepare any type of ethnic cuisine. I began teaching cooking classes in 1998 while managing my kitchen restaurant Celebrity's and catering company Slim Chef in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2005 I developed a patent focusing on water therapy and owned a day spa in Phoenix. I believe in feeding the body and soul thus my interests are ever expanding.
In 2015, still in Phoenix I resumed teaching culinary classes focusing on breadmaking and vegan cuisine. Over the years I wrote a dozen books including the Independent Vegan and the Real Dish. As a busy entrepreneur I also became a Realtor in Arizona and now in Nevada. Today I am still an active Realtor®️ in Las Vegas who truly cares about the quality of life of my clients in their future home and how to best serve them as their loyal listing agent. Exclusive Infused Gourmet Oil was founded in 2015 by two health enthusiasts, Emma and Ron. They started the business in their home kitchen providing healthy meals to their Airbnb guests. Their goal was to create unique and delicious foods that would delight customers using select base products like extra virgin olive, coconut oils and ghee infused with unique scents of nature. Everything was then made from scratch staying clear from any food products with labels and pre-made foods.
Emma has a technical culinary degree from the prestigious hotel restaurant management school in Toulouse, France. She owned Celebrity's and Slim Chef Catering in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1990 to 2002. Her lifelong culinary focus has been to make low sugar, low sodium and low to no polyunsaturated fat dishes without compromising quality and flavors. In fact, she won multiple culinary awards in the tri- valley Bay area like her famous Jamaican jerk chicken, raspberry pork, and salmon mousse dishes. She catered to Hills Physicians and Kaiser Permanente providing delicious food to their diabetic patients bringing healthier food alternatives into their group seminars. Her brain child Slim Chef serviced major accounts in the SF Bay Area like People Soft, Comcast and Google. Emma also managed Sunrise Senior Living kitchen in Danville, California (2002-2005) whereas she made changes providing better healthier alternatives to their residents.
